What is it?

ISO 17025 is the primary standard used for testing and calibration in laboratories. It has a broad scope and is applicable to all organizations which engage in these activities. Laboratories use the the standard to implement a system of quality management for the purpose of improving the consistent production of valid results.

• Access to more contracts for testing and/or calibration. Some public and private organizations only give contracts to accredited laboratories.
