What Is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for the management of a Quality Management System (QMS). ISO 9001 is part of a family of standards published by the “ISO 9000 series”. It applies to the various processes that create and control the products and services an organization supplies. All of the requirements of this International Standard are generic and are intended to apply to any product or services, regardless of type, size and product provided.
