For organizations transitioning from AS9100: 2004 to AS9100: 2009 (AS9100C, EN9100, JISQ9100), this three day course is designed to provide participants with an appropriate understanding of these changes. In addition, the last several years have provided many lessons learned from the Process Approach; therefore, this course will also provide participants an understanding that the Process Approach is an integral part of an organization’s business management system.

Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how the implementation of the Process Approach has affected AS9100C
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the purpose and intent of the AS9100C standard through a clause by clause review
  • Apply each of the standard’s clauses
  • Develop and utilize process approach planning and auditing “tools”
  • Provide assistance in the development of a Quality Management System (QMS) utilizing the process approach
  • Perform a gap analysis to the AS9100C requirements
