The eFMEA CD-ROM is an interactive learning system that supports the FMEA Reference Manual, Third Edition. It is a guide and reference tool to completing a FMEA. It is equipped with feedback instructions and measures the user's performance level at the completion of the program. The system includes a column-by-column completion of a design FMEA (DFMEA) and a process FMEA (PFMEA). It will take 2-3 hours for completion of the program. However, the program may be stopped at any time and the work can be saved for completion at a later time.

The full training system is contained on one CD and is appropriate for both novice and experienced users of FMEA. Novice users can acquaint themselves with the FMEA process and/or prepare for classroom training. Experienced users can use the program for more effective use of the FMEA process and/or to upgrade their understanding of FMEA to the Third Edition. At the completion of this CD- based training, users will have the ability to contribute to DFMEA and PFMEA formulation as well as understand the linkages to relevant sources of information that determines the quality of the FMEA data.
