Plexus has long provided a variety of standards training to a wide range of companies in many industries, countries and languages. Plexus has a sitting member on the IATF Training Commission and thus has unique insight into the needs and requirements of OEM certification schemes.  Having a presence at that level of decision-making for training and certification for over a decade allows Plexus to bring a form of “corporate knowledge” to bear in discussions on training and certification regarding best practices in worldwide training and certification efforts.  Many of the techniques and tools used today by automotive third party auditors have come directly from the interface and influence that Plexus brings to the table in IATF training discussions.  This influence is then translated into the classroom where their impact is unmistakable as auditors learn new and innovative ways of Process Approach auditing.

Over the past decade, Plexus has performed many services for the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and Supplier Quality Requirements Task Force (SQRTF) to include:

• Certification of automotive third party auditors to IATF for both QS-90000 and ISO/TS16949 systems
  • Through in-classroom training and individual evaluations of all auditors
  • Through written testing designed to determine the understanding and knowledge of each potential auditor candidate
• On-line re-certification of current IATF third party auditors

The IATF includes nine OEMS (PSA, Renault, Ford, GM, Daimler AG, Fiat, Chrysler, BMW Group, and VW AG) and five Oversight Bodies (ANFIA, IATF France, VDA, SMMT, and AIAG).
